Aleksey Alexandrov and Ekaterina Sklyar: September 10th, 2017 at 5pm

These prize-winning virtuosos of the domra, a Russian folk instrument, are gracing our stage with their incredible talents.  They will be performing music that draws from classical and jazz traditions and melodies. Their repertoire includes classical masterpieces, contemporary and jazz music, and their own compositions.

Adam CJ Klein: October 16th, 2017 at 6pm

Multitalented artist Adam CJ Klein finds beautiful and compelling songs from around the globe and sings them while accompanying himself on his handmade instruments. This concert program will demonstrate that, while there are differences in quality within any musical genre, there is no qualitative difference, no matter how foreign the music may sound.

Martin Soderberg: October 22nd, 2017 at 5pm

Swedish-Spanish pianist Martin Soderberg has performed extensively in Europe, Central and South America, the United States, Canada, and Asia. His program will uncover and elevate Latin American piano music and expose its little-known beauty to the audience. Mr. Soderberg is not only an accomplished pianist; he is also a brilliant storyteller and will keep an audience fully engaged throughout his performance.

The Drozdoff Society: November 4th, 2017 at 8pm

Vladimir Drozdoff, born in Saratov, Russia in 1882, was one of the most prominent students of pianist and pedagogue Anna Esipova and legendary composer Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov. At this event, an 80-minute-long narrated program will explore Mr. Drozdoff's legacy at length. The program will include performances by pianist Vyacheslav Gryaznov and soprano Hanna Golodinskii, along with a video presentation of photographs and recordings from the Society's archive.
